Came here for a weekend brunch with my partner. We shared a scrambled egg with mushrooms and ham and an alaska bagel. Including two coffees the total was 36€ which is not bad considering it was actually quite a lot of food. Happy to see they had iced coffee.
The food was quite nice overall. Eggs were still juicy and came with a few nice and crunchy bread rolls. The bagel was warm and crispy and filled well. Honestly all p good. The coffee on the other hand was a lil disappointing as it was a bit bland and not v aromatic. Service was v friendly though!
Overall it's still a p nice cafe and I would absolutely come back!

I had coconut soup here and it was the best I've ever had!
Vegan antipasti was tasty too.
Service is fast and people are helpful in general.

I would love to come here again to try their cakes. 🤤

We’re a family from the US staying at an apartment nearby. We enjoyed our brunch very much. I’m not sure if they had a menu in English, but I used my Google translate app to read the menu. We’ve been traveling through Europe for a couple weeks now and my kids were really craving some eggs and bacon so they ordered the American Breakfast and loved it. I had the Italian Bagel and really enjoyed it. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us. I highly recommended Café Mainstreet.

Didn’t even get to the food, the server looked us up and down and made us sit on the table right next to the toilet. Upon asking her to sit on a different table, out of all the open tables, she rudely said No.

We decided to leave the place.

Edit: The server at no point mentioned the table was reserved, she simply said “no”. The fact that owner responded to my review within 10 mins shows they are trying to cover their tracks. Anyway…

Everything was good!

Food was delicious and was served very quickly, mac and cheese was the highlight for kids and bagels were hit too.

Pumpkin coconut soup is extra delicious so it's a must have, and the latte Macchiato cake was delightful. I'm running out of adjectives for the food, and service was to match the overall quality!!

The food here is great and the people are extremely nice, kind, welcoming, and joyful. My family and I have breakfast and brunch here from time to time and we always like it. As a black family living in Poing, we are very happy that this place is welcoming. The owners (Mr and Mrs Lemmerich) are great people and always welcoming, smiling and kind.

Because I like the place very much, I decided to hold a get-together with about 40 of my friends. My guests loved it very much. Also, the waiters are joyful and warm.

So far, I only had one not-so-perfect experience but this was because the place was already booked out by customers who love dinning here. I was too late and didn't get a space.
